Le Cinque Terre

Wonderland

The string of towns perched on this rugged coastline in Liguria – so colourful and overlooking a sea that boasts a blue that is hard to find anywhere else – offer such a picturesque setting that it is known the world over.

Our 5-star farm is the perfect starting point for exploring this area: the relaxing, magical air that you will be immersed in here will accompany you throughout your entire trip.

The Cinque Terre cover an area of approximately 10km along a stretch of the Ligurian coast, starting at Monterosso and ending up in Riomaggiore, passing through Vernazza, Manarola and Corniglia.

This area is a maze of trails and paths that connect the various towns to one another and which will offer you the chance to take in the breath taking views.

The Blue Path, for example, is one of the most popular walking paths in Italy, both in terms of its difficulty rating, which can be managed by both beginners as well as expert walkers, and in terms of the constant range of beautiful views.

Less famous – so much so that they are nameless – yet boasting outstanding beauty, are the mule tracks that connect all the farms along the entire coast. Some even go up to the sanctuaries that overlook the Cinque Terre, which today are a destination for religious pilgrims.

Ligurian cooking

Liguria is famous for its simple and delicious culinary heritage, which is filled with fish dishes, savoury pies and fragrant lemon and basil.
At Laghello di Amina we will know just the traditional dishes that you have to try and where you can try them, in the inns where you can still try good old-fashioned cooking. What’s more, we would be happy to recommend a few special things to try…
