Il Laghello di Amina is a five-star Liguria-based, farm spread over 5 hectares.
Here we grow our own vegetables and we take care of an old vineyard, olive groves and a small orchard.
Every year we produce fruit and vegetables, alongside jams, oil and wine, which we like to share with our guests – all of which are certified organic.
Some of our bees can be found in a secluded corner, the very ones that give us such delicious honey and fresh pollen with astonishing properties.
In addition to our own fields, we also take care of an ever-expanding wooded area every year, attempting to keep it clean and preserve its integrity. Here pine, chestnut, oak, cherry, acacia, maple, alder, hazelnut and strawberry trees grow, as well as heather, dog roses and blackberry bushes.
Robins, crickets, squirrels, swallows, hawks, foxes, owls and even a few errant wild boars hide amongst the wood’s labyrinths. And let’s not forget about the fireflies that provide a nighttime show of epic proportions…
A stream with rich, clean waters runs through the wooded area next to Laghello di Amina and holds sulphurous spring, which was previously named the Castalia spring by the University of Pisa. These freezing and revitalizing waters are invaluable for your heath and … for children’s play!
